Contracting vehicles are in place to make use of commercial practices and streamline the procurement process. In addition to providing high quality, cost-effective consulting, training and interactive product development capabilities, ASC offers its Federal, State & Local clients access to fast, convenient, and affordable contracting options. As you are aware, it is important to understand which contracting options will best satisfy your needs when you are ready to procure external support. Given the magnitude of your requirement, time constraints, and resource limits, ASC recommends the following contracting options that present a wealth of advantages (less time, fewer resources and more convenience) over competitive procurement.
- SBA 8(a) Contract
- Hubzone Contract
- GSA Schedule 70
- Schriever AFB BOA
- USPTO BPA
SBA 8(a) Sole-Source Contract
Certified until 2009
The small Business Administration's (SBA) 8(a) Business Development Program, named for a section of the Small Business Act, is a business development initiative that helps socially and economically disadvantaged American citizens gain access to the economic mainstream. The 8(a) program offers Government agencies access to qualified contractors without enduring the time-consuming process of competitive procurement. ASC is a certified 8(a) firm and this gives our company the ability to accept sole-source 8(a) contracts for IT services and/or hardware from our federal customers.
