As school systems move through the selection process for the interactive
whiteboard solution of their choice, much attention is always focused on
the solution's features and benefits and rightfully so. Of course, our
experience tells us that no other solution matches up to the Promethean
Activclassroom. But that said, there are other important considerations
beyond the hardware components and software solution itself. In many
cases, we see that not enough attention is given to two other critical
aspects of the implementation - namely user (teacher) training and
installation.
Regarding installation, the success and the safety of every
Activclassroom deployment depends on the quality of the installation.

is done correctly and completed on a timely basis. Our installation
management team and professional installers have deployed literally
thousands of Activclassrooms to date... . When it comes to installations, there is a steep
learning curve. There are many
variables to consider and this process can easily be mishandled.
If you choose the Activclassroom as your solution, it's to your
advantage that ASC inc do your installation, plus if you use a certified
installer from ASC inc you will receive an additional 2 year
warranty on your Activboard.
There are numerous variables that impact the method of installation, the
materials and the tools that are required. For example, those variables
include among others:
Cinderblock vs. dry wall construction
Fire codes
Ceiling height and type
The availability of electricity in the right places
Does your classroom require plenum cable vs. non-plenum cable?
Before our installers arrive, a site survey and pre-questionnaire is
completed. As necessary, we review your building codes and work with
your architect and building team. From this information, an installation
plan is determined. And finally, our professional installers will come
onto your site armed with the right materials, the right tools and the
know-how to install your Activclassrooms properly. Before our installers
leave, the software will be loaded and your Activclassroom will be fully
calibrated and tested to insure their proper and safe operation of all
components.
